The Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy visiting the collections of the Museum of Villafranca, with iconic testimonies of Italian industry and business culture

Villafranca di Verona 25 May 2024 – Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso visited the Museo Nicolis to appreciate the prestigious ten collections that fully represent the values of our country linked to the innovation we have developed from the early 20th century to the present day and the excellence of the men and women who have contributed to the development of Italian industry. Welcoming the Minister was Silvia Nicolis, President of the Museo Nicolis: ‘Minister Adolfo Urso’s visit was very significant for our Enterprise Museum,’ said the President, ‘this museum, through cars, motorbikes and hundreds of works of human ingenuity, aims to share the history of the 20th century and Italian industry with the community. It is a concrete testimony to the resilience, determination and genius typical of Made in Italy.’
The Museo Nicolis is an expression of a modern Enterprise Culture and corporate identity enhanced by the Nicolis-Lamacart Group. The Museum’s collection includes more than 200 vintage cars, 114 bicycles, 104 motorbikes, 500 cameras, 100 musical instruments, 102 typewriters, aeronautics, more than 100 steering wheels of sophisticated Formula 1 single-seaters and countless works of human ingenuity exhibited according to anthological, historical and stylistic itineraries.

Silvia Nicolis is also vice-president of Museimpresa, the national association that belongs to Confindustria for the enhancement of Italy’s industrial history heritage. She is also a member of the Gruppo Tecnico Cultura di Confindustria nazionale and Commissioner of the Commissione Nazionale Storia e Musei ASI Automotoclub Storico Italiano.
