On 24 June 1963 Lamacart was born

The beginning of our entrepreneurial history

It was 24 June 1963, when in the municipality of Villafranca di Verona, Luciano Nicolis established LAMACART for the business of collecting and processing waste paper, which had already been started in 1938 by his father Francesco. In 2017, Luciano was awarded the ‘Loyalty to Work’ Prize in memory of Luciano Nicolis by the Verona Chamber of Commerce, with the following motivation: ‘The Self Made Man who gave life to a great Lamacart company active on international markets and who, at the same time, cultivated a dream fuelled by his unbridled passion for engines and antique objects, concretized in the creation of the Nicolis Museum, so that the memory of past entrepreneurial feats may serve as a lesson for the entrepreneurs and workers of the future.’
Today, we celebrate a long history of enterprise, which is always projected towards the future, which we want to share with you.
