I had the privilege to meet Luciano Nicolis 2 times in 2006. On our way to Auto Moto Epoca in Padova we stopped by the Museo Nicolis. As collectors of classic cars we were lucky to meet Luciano in the museum. We immediately were impressed by his extensive knowledge of classic cars and of the meticulous way he conserves them. He very kindly showed us the collection but also the basement with more cars and all the parts you will find nowhere anymore. The top of the tour was his own little workshop on the first floor. I returned a few months later to look again at a Fiat 2300S Coupe he offered me for sale the first time, but would not sell anymore the second time. He discovered it was a special one.
