For the 2023 edition of Paper Week (15/21 April) students and teachers will once again be able to visit the places where paper and cardboard recyclingtakes place.
That is why the Museo Nicolis and Lamacart will be hosting a day entirely dedicated to this great topic.
What happens after the bin? Who makes the recycling cycle work? And what role do we all play?
The RicicloAperto initiative was launched in 2001 to provide an answer to these questions.
RicicloAperto is in fact a real “open door” of the paper and cardboard supply chain, conceived by Comieco, to show adults and children the reality of paper and cardboard recycling by making them see the most important and lesser-known aspects up close, debunking false myths such as “throw everything away together” and giving value to everyone’s daily commitment to separate waste collection, which gives a boost to the circular economy.
RicicloAperto’s venues are a hundred or so, including thematic museums, paper processing companies, and waste management plants that every day work in synergy to give new life to correctly sorted paper and cardboard.
