Museo Nicolis star in Milan at #FORUMAutoMotive with one of the first Electric Cars of the early 1900s: the Baker, Rauch & Lang “Double Drive Coach”

Villafranca di Verona, Nov. 15, 2023 – The Museo Nicolis confirms itself as an exceptional partner at #FORUMAutoMotive 2023, the reservoir of ideas and forge of debates, a reference point for the industry and all mobility enthusiasts, promoted by journalist and founder Pierluigi Bonora.

At the Enterprise Hotel in Milan, the venue of the event, confirming the international role played by the Veronese museum, one of the most characteristic pieces of the collection was on display: the 1919 Baker, Rauch & Lang “Double Drive Coach.

The theme of this edition was “For a safer and more aware automotive world”; speeches touched on topics such as road safety education and the role of families and schools in training and education on the Highway Code, but also technologies at the service of safety. The forum then addressed “green” topics by presenting different solutions for comparison, ending with the sixth edition of the International “DEKRA Road Safety Award 2023awarded to Bosch in the person of Camillo Mazza, General Manager Robert Bosch GmbH Branch in Italy.

Electric mobility was discussed, analyzing merits and criticalities of this transition, some of which has yet to be explored. The Nicolis Museum, an ambassador of automotive history, displayed its “Baker”: one of the first electric cars in history made in small series.
