Mika Juhani Salo (Helsinki, 30 November 1966) is a Finnish racing driver. è un pilota automobilistico finlandese.
After racing for many years in the minor categories, Finn Mika Salo joined Formula 1 in 1994 and remained there until 2002 (with the exception of 2001 when he took part in testing for Toyota's entry into F1), his best result was second place at the 1999 German Grand Prix.
In his career he drove for Lotus, Tyrrell, Arrows, BAR, Ferrari (taking Schumacher's place, while he was injured) , Sauber and Toyota.
Steering Wheels:
- Famous for his friendship and rivalry with countryman Mika Häkkinen, in 1996 Salo raced for the Tyrrell team, with which he managed to achieve 5 championship points and 13th place in the driver standings. This steering wheel in our museum was part of the 024 single-seater, a car that was sluggish and unreliable.
