Toranosuke Takagi (Shizuoka, 12 February 1974) is a Japan former Formula 1 racing driver.
Takagi's F1 career was very short, but unfortunately, not so sweet. During a race in 1994, he attracted the attention of Satoru Nakajima, a former Japanese Formula One driver, who brought him on board as driver with Nakajima Racing for the Formula 3000 season.
Afterwards came the Tyrrell team, with which he raced as main driver in 1998 and in 1999 he joined Arrows. The results did not surprise the respective teams, while his popularity in Europe grew significantly. Unfortunately, his two years spent in the top flight did not reward him with any championship points.
Steering Wheels:
- This PERSONAL steering wheel in our collection was assembled on Tyrrell 026. Unfortunately, Takagi did not manage to reward any championship points, despite the English team car was very reliable.
