Invented by  Frank Lambert e produced by The Lambert Typewriter Company - New York, the Lambert typewriter is unique in shape and technology. It is the only typewriter on which the keyboard consists of one single piece. The Lambert is often mistaken for an index typewriter.

Curios: Research into this typewriter began in 1880 but it was only patented in 1884 and then marketed from 1902 with great success. It is a very original typewriter, where the keyboard is formed of a single element, a very unusual feature for that era.
