Bencini Comet S, 1950, Italy
The Bencini brand boasts ancient origins. Founded in Milan in 1937, ICAF briefly changed its name to "CMF" and then took on the definitive name "CMF Bencini" after the war.
This company made a wide range of cameras, but the most original and interesting models were certainly those produced at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s, characterized by a body made entirely of die-cast aluminum alloy and an elegant, unmistakable style.
Produced starting in 1950, the COMET S is one of the Milanese company's most representative and successful models.
