Edward McKay "Eddie" Cheever (Phoenix, 10 January 1958) is an American former racing driver.
Nicknamed "L'americano de Roma" (the american of Rome), because he spent his childhood in Italy, Cheever raced in Formula 1 with sport car and in CART and IRL Championship in America. In Italy he earned the 2nd place in Formula 2 in Enna Grand Prix at Pergusa racetrack in 1978.
