Harley-Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic “H-Paradise”, 1994
Harley-Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic "H-Paradise", 1994, USA
Launched in 1986, the Heritage Softail Classic is a motorcycle whose style and lines are inspired by the 1958 Duo Glide, reintroducing the faired headlamp, the 16" front wheel and the enveloping fenders. The frame, introduced few years before, is the so-called Softail that by hiding the rear dampers under the bike, allowed Harley-Davidson to create a frame inspired to the rigid ones used on 30s and 40s motorcycles, without sacrificing comfort.
From that moment on, the Softail range split in half. The “FXs” with 21" front wheel and a "chopper" styling; and the “FLs” with thick front wheels, fairings and bigger front forks to achieve a retro styling. This one in particular fully represent the concept of Custom Culture: it underwent a radical modification that turned it into a one-off. The painting alone took 160h of work.
