Curios : We have no news of the Mignon N.1 from 1903. This Model N. 2 used the so-called “index” writing style. The letters were selected by moving the “index” device to the selected character. When the key is pressed the “character support” cylinder lowers and prints the letter on the page. Only disadvantage: slow typing speed.
