Peugeot, 1900, woman bicycle
Peugeot, woman bicycle, 1900, France
Peugeot, the famous French company, started building bicycles in 1882, riding the wave of success this vehicle had all over Europe.
This two-wheeler from the Lion firm represents one of the first bicycles for a female audience: in fact the frame shows the curved horizontal tube, to allow an easier access to the vehicle, still a distinctive trait of woman bicycles.
