Keijo Erik Rosberg, as known as Keke (Solna, 6 December 1948), is a Finnish former racing driver and Formula 1 World Champion in 1982.
In his Formula 1 career he drove for years for low position Team, before reaching his most important results with Williams Team, for which he raced 4 season obtaining 5 successes.
Curiosity: Keke Rosberg was the first Finnish driver to win a Formula 1 championship and 34 years later his son Nico Rosberg managed to match his father's achievement.
Steering Wheels:
- In 1983, Keke Rosberg was under contract with the Williams team, with which he had won the world championship the year before, but this time the team, not having a turbo engine required by new regulations, instead decided to simply change the previous year's car to focus on 1984. This led to him being unable to defend the world title. Nonetheless, he drove very well indeed and, with 27 points in the bag, he finished in 5th place in the driver standings.
