Gabriele Tarquini (Giulianova, 2 March 1962) is an Italian racing driver.
Gabriele was an all-round driver; he has raced in various motor racing categories, such as the Endurance Championships, Formula 3000 and Sportscar Racing, in which he still competes.
He made his Formula 1 debut in 1987.
Steering Wheel:
- In 1990 he was snapped up by the French team AGS, with which, unfortunately, he failed to achieve any noteworthy results. In actual fact, he only managed to finish in 13th place at the Hungarian Grand Prix, a position with no championship points.
- In 1991 he continued to compete for the AGS team just as he had done the previous two years. His finishes were much more satisfactory than those of 1990, but since at the time an eighth position did not merit any championship points (whereas from 2010 it is worth 4), the driver failed to see his name up on the year's driver standings.
