The Museo Nicolis is the solution for all weather conditions
Villafranca di Verona, 23 July 2024 – When the sun is too hot or the rain falls incessantly, the Nicolis Museum in Villafranca di Verona is the ideal place to spend an unforgettable day protected from the unexpected! Visiting a cultural site is the optimal choice to enrich your spirit and knowledge on a pleasant summer’s day.
Immerse yourself in the history of the 20th century in a magical setting just a few kilometers from Lake Garda and the city of Verona. A large free car park will guarantee easy access to the museum.
The Nicolis is the original destination for valuing leisure time, strolling through the great beauty of the design of hundreds of vintage cars, motorbikes, bicycles, and more. Stories, curiosities, and inventions of the 20th century are enclosed in 6,000 square meters. You will discover the first automobile: the Benz of 1886 that turned man’s life upside down, the first scooter: the Skootamota Abc of 1919 indicated for those who wore ‘skirts’ like those of ladies and prelates; and the first bicycle: the Draisina of the 19th century without pedals and without a chain, created to entertain young aristocrats. You can also admire one of the very first electric cars, the one used by ‘Granny Duck,’ which was already a popular means of transport at the beginning of the last century.
You can also immerse yourself into the fabulous 1950s, including cars, vintage photos and settings such as the journalist’s office and the Sports Bar: hop in our 1957 BMW Isetta to take a selfie! Wear glasses, hat and scarf for a unique shot. The exhibition “1000 Miglia by Mailander” , in which this fantastic setting is set, will also be open until October.
Don’t let the heat or rain stop you!
Come and discover us to enjoy a day of culture, relaxation and fun.
