Steering Wheels:
- The Argentine joined Formula 1 in 1998, when he was chosen by Minardi as the second driver behind Japan's Shinji Nakano and he was predicted to be one of the year's top drivers. However, the Argentine driver's season proved to be rather disappointing, ending with a crash during the Japanese Grand Prix. A fractured cervical vertebra forced him to leave the world of F1 and he would eventually return to Argentina where raced in local championships. These steering wheels in our collection were assembled on Minardi M198 single-seater and are a reminder of that short season.
